Little Arbor Vitae Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District

About Little Arbor Vitae Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District

Little Arbor Vitae Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District was formed June 24th 1975 based on the advice of the Division of National Resources (DNR) so that a permanent fixed-level dam could be built to manage an erratic water level at the mouth of Little Arbor Vitae Lake. Glyn Roberts and Dick Hill filed the necessary application forms. They gained funding from grants and raffles and volunteers who performed in-kind services.
